Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Life Enrichment Leader for Memory Care. This full‑time role covers every other weekend with Monday off after working a weekend, focusing on planning and executing engaging activities for residents with dementia.

You will schedule, assess, and lead activities, coordinate calendars and communications, and support budgeting and staffing within the Life Enrichment team. Strong English skills and experience with Alzheimer’s/dementia are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed high school education or equivalent.
• Certified in activities programming as specified in regulations.
• Three to five years of working with the elderly is required.
• Minimum one year of management experience.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s and dementia preferred.
• Strong communication, comprehension and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Activities Certification as required by state compliance.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and develop life enrichment activities for residents.
• Assess residents for group, independent and one‑to‑one activities.
• Submit assessments and paperwork for MDS on time.
• Lead activities on scheduled work days and manage the calendar.
• Contribute to facility communications and newsletters; assist with payroll, HR, A/P, A/R and budgeting as needed.
• Help ensure staffing levels by coordinating Life Enrichment Assistants and volunteers.
• Attend facility meetings and participate in required training and on-call/weekend programs.
