Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Life Enrichment Leader for Memory Care on a full-time basis, including every other weekend and a Monday off after weekend work.

You will schedule and develop activities, assess residents, coordinate with MDS, manage calendars, contribute to communications, and support staffing and budgeting for the department. Experience with dementia care and strong communication with residents and families is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have high school education or equivalent.
• Certified in activities programming per state regulations.
• 3–5 years experience with the elderly; at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and develop life enrichment activities for residents.
• Assess residents for group, independent and 1:1 activities.
• Submit assessments for MDS in a timely manner.
• Lead activities on scheduled work days and maintain calendars.
• Assist with newsletters and communications; may oversee payroll, HR, A/P, A/R and budgeting.
• Support staffing levels by guiding Life Enrichment assistants and volunteers.
