Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking an Enrichment Leader to plan, organize and implement specialized activities for seniors with cognitive disabilities in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will lead group activities following our memory enrichment curriculum with a focus on hospitality and empathy.

Ideal candidates are reliable, collaborate well in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to helping residents thrive as they age. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Minimum of 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population.
• Ability to work the defined schedule which may include weekends.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Professional, pleasant and team-oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and teach small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in memory enrichment programs.
• Prepare materials and conduct research to lead engaging memory enrichment activities.
• Assist with cognitive assessments, track resident participation and maintain documentation.
