Job summary

Otterbein is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant for Memory Care to plan and implement cultural, educational and leisure activities for residents, coordinate trips, and support monthly calendars.

The role requires strong communication, one year of related experience, and an Ohio driver’s license; associates degree in gerontology or related field is required, with a bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in gerontology or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
• COTA or 90-hour Activity Training Certificate.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in activities/events planning and program development.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage older adults.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate resident activities and events.
• Develop monthly activity calendar.
• Coordinate off-campus trips and Lifelong Learning opportunities.
• Assist with resident transportation and plan evening/weekend activities.
