Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio seeks a Life Enrichment Coordinator (Activities) Assistant to plan and facilitate a diverse calendar of cultural, educational and leisure activities for residents on campus and in the community.

The role involves engaging with older adults, coordinating outings, and supporting Lifelong Learning opportunities. It requires flexibility for evenings and weekends and is a full-time role (8a–5p).

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 90-hour Activity Training Certificate preferred; COTA; Must have a current Ohio Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Experience: 1–2 years in activities/programs/event planning; ability to multi-task and work independently; computer literate.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and flexible schedule for some evening and weekend activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate activities.
• Plan Lifelong Learning opportunities for independent living residents on campus and for off‑campus trips.
• Plan off-campus trips for skilled nursing residents (day, overnight, multi-day).
• Independently offer educational opportunities for residents, including presentations.
• Assist with monthly calendar, execute activities, complete resident activity and MDS assessments, and other duties as assigned.
