Job summary

The Legacy Senior Communities is seeking a Lifestyles Coordinator in Memory Support to develop and implement programs that create a structured, vibrant environment for residents. The role focuses on memory support activities designed to maintain and enhance mental, physical, spiritual, and social well-being.

You will work with nursing staff to promote programs, evaluate participation, and manage budgets for entertainment and supplies while ensuring safety and confidentiality for residents and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College Degree, related certification or minimum 1 year experience preferred.
• At least 6 months of experience working with cognitively-impaired persons.
• Must have experience with memory support activities.
• Activity Professional Certification or Activity Director Certification preferred.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and personal automobile liability insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities based on residents’ interests and needs.
• Evaluate programming quality and participation through surveys and interactions with residents and families.
• Coordinate with AL/MS Director and Lifestyles Director to inform, coordinate services and report progress.
• Coordinate with other departments to support scheduled programming.
• Manage large, small, and one-to-one events, arrange transportation, and monitor resident safety.
