Job summary

The Legacy Senior Communities is hiring an Activities (Lifestyle) Coordinator for Memory Support in Plano, TX. You will plan and oversee resident services, coordinating programs to enhance health, engagement, and growth within a compassionate, Jewish-informed environment.

Ideal candidates have an AA and 1–3 years of relevant experience; a bachelor’s in Sociology or Recreational Therapy or Activity Director Certification is a plus. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• AA or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• Additional degree for Licensed Nursing Home services (Sociology or Recreational Therapy).
• Activity Director Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and conducting lifestyle programs for residents.
• Coordinate events from setup to completion and holidays/special occasions.
• Communicate with residents and families about programs and activities.
• Support wellness program leadership and resident engagement.
• Lead and motivate staff to foster a collaborative environment.
• Represent the program in a hospitable and resident-focused manner.
