Job summary

Atria Senior Living – Lincoln Place is seeking a dedicated Life Guidance coordinator to plan and implement engaging activities for residents. You will lead designated programs, organize celebrations, and ensure activities meet individual needs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating with staff, tracking participation, and supporting community events while maintaining a warm, supportive environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of recreational therapy methods and their application to residents’ activity needs.
• Certification(s) required by state regulations.
• Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leads Life Guidance programs and develops service plans.
• Provides diversified recreational activities with supervision.
• Engages Life Guidance staff in daily programming and ADLs.
• Plans birthday celebrations for residents.
• Develops programs for residents, including those confined to rooms.
• Engages and motivates residents to participate in activities.
• Welcomes new residents and connects them with others with similar interests.
• Assists in planning events and decorating the community seasonally.
