Atria Senior Living – Covell Gardens in Davis, CA is seeking a Life Enrichment/Activity Specialist to create engaging programs for residents and support their well-being. You will lead Life Guidance activities, plan daily schedules, coordinate celebrations, and work with staff to promote social interaction and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A working knowledge of recreational therapy methods and their application to residents with dementia.
• Ability to plan and implement activity programs for adults.
• Must comply with state regulations and obtain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Leads Life Guidance programs and develops service plans.
• Offers diversified activities with appropriate supervision.
• Plans daily programs including activities of daily living.
• Plans resident birthday celebrations.
• Engages residents to maximize participation.
• Greets new residents and integrates them into activities.
• Supports census-building initiatives and tracks participation.
• Maintains activity records as required by state law.
