Job summary

The Greens at Pinehurst in Pinehurst, NC is hiring a CNA Activities Assistant to join our Memory Care team. You will design and lead engaging, meaningful activities tailored to residents with Alzheimer's and other dementias, fostering connection, comfort, and moments of joy.

As part of our day shift, you will collaborate with nursing staff to support residents, provide companionship, and adapt activities to individual abilities.

Qualifications

• Active NC CNA certification required.
• Experience with Memory Care or dementia care is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead fun, meaningful activities and events for residents.
• Lead games, crafts, music, exercise, sensory activities and celebrations.
• Provide one-on-one engagement and companionship with residents.
• Encourage participation at each resident's comfort level.
• Bring fresh activity ideas to the team and adapt activities for abilities.
• Assist residents to and from activities and help with decorating for events.
