Job summary

Pine Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Memory Care Activity Aide for a 11am-7pm shift. You will design and lead engaging activities tailored to memory care residents, aiming to improve cognitive stimulation, socialization, and emotional well-being.

The role requires compassion, strong communication, and collaboration with the care team to document participation and progress and support residents and families.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.
• Training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and caring demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop activities for memory care residents.
• Lead and facilitate activities (art, music, games, social events) to promote cognitive stimulation and social engagement.
• Create a safe, supportive environment encouraging participation and community.
