Job summary

Pine Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Memory Care Activity Aide for a 11am-7pm shift. You will design and lead engaging activities tailored to memory care residents, aiming to improve cognitive stimulation, socialization, and emotional well-being.

The role requires compassion, strong communication, and collaboration with the care team to document participation and progress and support residents and families.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.
• Training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and caring demeanor.

Memory Care Activity Aide Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement activities that cater to the unique needs and interests of our memory care residents

• Lead and facilitate a variety of activities, including art, music, games, and social events, to promote cognitive stimulation, socialization, and emotional well-being

• Create a safe and supportive environment that encourages residents to participate and engage in activities, fostering a sense of community and belonging

• Document residents' participation and progress, providing insight and recommendations to the care team

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless interactions and support

Memory Care Activity Aide Requirements:
