Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One to two years of experience working with the public and cash handling.
• Proficiency with standard business software computer operations.
• Detail oriented and strong organizational and communication skills.
• Completion of YMCA program-specific certifications upon hire.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.

Responsibilities

• Process membership enrollments, renewals, and program registrations using YMCA systems.
• Greet members and guests, determine needs, and direct them to appropriate services.
• Handle inquiries and complaints with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Process cash transactions and reconcile daily till.
• Provide facility tours and encourage membership enrollment.
• Build positive relationships with members and staff.
• Adhere to safety, emergency, and child abuse prevention policies; document incidents as required.
• Participate in fundraising events and promote YMCA programs and donations.
