Job summary

DivaDance in Chicago is seeking a confident, persuasive on-site representative to grow membership while delivering a warm, welcoming class experience. You’ll also act as a friendly ambassador, guiding prospective members toward the right plan.

You’ll host 1–2 classes per week (about 1–2 hours), earn $20 per class hosted plus $10 commission for each membership or 10-class pack sold, and enjoy free unlimited DivaDance classes. Reliable transport between Logan Square and Avondale is required.

• On-site availability in Chicago and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and check them in to create a warm, organized class experience
• Engage with clients before and after class to understand goals and experiences
• Assist new clients with membership options and recommend the best fit
• Act as on-duty manager during class to ensure a fun, high-quality experience
• Capture class videos for client memories and share to the private community
• Observe class vibe and provide feedback for continuous improvement

THE GIG DivaDance helps adults build confidence and community through fun, pop-music-inspired dance classes. We’re looking for a confident, persuasive individual who is excited to help us inspire confidence and build community while growing our membership base.
This is a sales-first role where you’ll also serve as the on-site representative for DivaDance during your assigned classes. You’ll welcome clients, build relationships, guide prospective members toward the right membership, and help ensure every client leaves feeling celebrated, connected, and excited to come back.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome clients, check them in, and create a warm, organized class experience
• Connect with clients before and after class to learn about their goals and experiences
• Guide new clients through membership options and confidently recommend the best fit
• Serve as the manager on duty during class, ensuring a fun, high-quality client experience
• Capture a class video for clients to remember their experience and post it to our private community page
• Observe class vibe and share feedback to help us continuously improve

HOURS, COMPENSATION & LOCATION

We're looking for someone to host 1-2 classes per week (approximately 1-2 hours/week).

Compensation & Perks

Location

Our classes are currently held at partner studios in Logan Square and Avondale, so reliable transportation between those neighborhoods is required. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S.
