Job summary

The Salvation Army Grand Rapids Kroc Center seeks a Membership Department Supervisor to oversee the welcome desk, supervise Attendants and Building Leads, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include managing cash handling, POS transactions, staff scheduling, and delivering radical hospitality to guests while ensuring safety and policy compliance; this role also serves as Manager on Duty during weekday afternoons.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in administration or business or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years supervising staff.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems; English communication; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Welcome Desk Leads and Attendants; manage scheduling.
• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff; ensure sales and service goals.
• Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and daily income balancing.
• Act as Manager on Duty during weekday afternoons.
• Address customer complaints and ensure radical hospitality.
