Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division seeks a Membership Department Supervisor to oversee the welcome desk, build staffing, and manage daily operations at the Grand Rapids Kroc Center. You will act as Manager on Duty, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain cash controls.

Qualified candidates will have an associate degree in administration or business and at least three years of supervisory experience, plus proficiency with cash handling, POS, and Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of three years supervising staff experience preferred.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee welcome desk operations and supervise Welcome Desk Leads and Attendants.
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate front desk staff.
• Ensure cash handling procedures and POS transactions are followed.
• Balance daily income and reconcile with accounts payable where applicable.
• Provide exceptional guest services and resolve member concerns.
