Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a frontline member services associate in Virginia, Norfolk. You will actively promote all BJ’s membership programs, drive signups, and provide first-line support for member questions, returns, exchanges, and order pickups.

The role emphasizes fast service, accuracy, and a positive member experience, with a focus on meeting daily goals and upholding club standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Prior front line/customer service or previous sales experience preferred.
• Basic math skills preferred.
• Computer proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the BJ’s value proposition regarding acquisition, retention, perks, and the member experience.
• Converts potential members by actively and effectively pitching all membership programs.
• Delivers superior customer service to Members at the first point-of-contact for questions and issues.
• Follows tax exempt/resale membership policies and supports renewals and eligibility checks.
• Escalates issues to PIC and MOD when necessary and assists with Buy Online and Pick Up In Club orders.
