Job summary

The Dispatch is seeking an Audience Growth & Lifecycle Manager to lead the membership growth engine. You will craft campaigns, run paywall tests, own lifecycle emails, and translate data into decisions. You will collaborate with senior leadership and own outcomes, touching acquisition, conversion, retention and reporting.

Based in Washington, D.C. with a hybrid setup, exceptional remote candidates will be considered. You’ll thrive in a small team and own a broad surface area.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in subscription marketing, growth marketing, or audience development.
• Experience at a startup or similar size company with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Drive audience development across newsletters, social, and organic channels.
• Own lifecycle execution: email flows, segmentation, and dynamic content in our ESP.
• Run a continuous testing program across paywalls, offers, landing pages, onboarding sequences, and lifecycle triggers.
• Move editorial moments into campaigns during traffic spikes and report with rigor.
