Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years in membership, sales, customer service, or business development experience, preferably in a nonprofit.
• Strong outbound sales calls, pipeline management, and CRM experience (iMIS preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to craft compelling membership value propositions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Informz, Higher Logic LEAD, or comparable platforms a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and willingness to travel to APHA-related meetings.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound membership inquiries by phone and email with consultative support.
• Conduct outbound calls to promote APHA membership and manage sales funnel.
• Manage STB bulk membership enrollment, billing coordination, and data verification in iMIS.
• Coordinate bi-monthly new member webinars and tracking engagement campaigns.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, and operations to align outreach messaging.
