Job summary

Equinox in Boston is seeking a full-time Membership Sales Advisor who is passionate about health and fitness. You will be the club's brand ambassador, sell memberships and ancillary packages, build relationships with prospective and current members, and promote the Equinox experience.

The role includes pre-planning with the team, events for lead generation, and meeting or exceeding sales goals. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required; compensation includes a base hourly wage with

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) months of membership sales experience.
• Must have an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Confident with incentive-based salary structure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly disposition.
• Personal passion for health and fitness.
• Enjoy working within a team.
• Strong time management skills and practices.
• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including weekends.
• MUST be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• MUST be able to work the last 4 days of each month.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for selling club memberships and ancillary business packages.
• Prospect new business and clients.
• Host events and workshops for in-club lead generation.
• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, renewals and ancillary service goals.
• Conduct pre-planning activities each month including strategic outreach, for securing member referrals.
• Build rapport and lasting relationships with prospective and current members.
• Membership Sales Advisors must have knowledge of and participate in all the club's services, programs, and products.
