Job summary

YMCA of Greater Cleveland is seeking a Member Service Representative to welcome members, process enrollments, and promote membership sales at the front desk. You will handle payments, maintain records, and assist in program registrations while delivering friendly, professional service.

This role requires strong communication, cash handling, and basic computer skills, including experience with the DAXKO system. CPR/First Aid certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; must be at least 16 years old.
• Cash handling experience and basic computer/keyboard skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and visitors at the front desk and provide information per YMCA guidelines.
• Process payments and maintain balanced cash drawer in accordance with procedures.
• Promote membership sales and support enrollment for programs and services.
• Answer phones and respond to inquiries, forwarding messages as needed.
• Maintain records for new members, renewals, and program participants; ensure data entry accuracy.
