Job summary

YMCA of Greater Cleveland is seeking a friendly Member Service Representative to greet members, process payments, and support membership sales at the front desk. You will handle registrations, data entry, and inquiries with a customer-first approach.

The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, strong communication, and the ability to work in a dynamic, member-driven environment while upholding YMCA values and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum two years high school and 16 years old.
• CPR and First Aid certification and Safety training required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Process payments and maintain balanced cash drawer and receipting.
• Greet members/visitors according to YMCA guidelines.
• Promote and support membership sales by following member sales process.
• Provide tours to prospective members as needed.
• Answer inquiries and forward messages per guidelines.
• Maintain records on new members and program participants.
