Qualifications

• Minimum of three years sales and customer service experience required.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work independently and use judgment and discretion.
• Strong communication skills, basic computer skills, phone etiquette, customer service orientation.
• Must be detail oriented, efficient in multitasking, organized and highly responsive with a member-focused mindset.
• Must be able to work on-site, including evenings or weekends as needed for member activities and events.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with membership or CRM systems; prior experience in fitness, hospitality, or club environments is a plus.
• Ability to count/handle money.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting, lead generation, and building referral business.
• Sale of new memberships.
• Respond to telephone, text, and e-mail membership inquiries, booking and maintaining appointments for prospective members to tour the club.
• Track and report daily membership sales and activities.
• Mastery of all member opportunities within the club; connecting new members to areas of interest to set them up for success and long-term membership.
• Working cohesively with a team of Membership Reps and a Membership Director to be successful individually and as a team.
• Establishing a strong sales pipeline, meeting sales objectives and collaborating with a team to achieve the overall goals of the business.
• Work with the Membership Director to develop new corporate accounts and provide ongoing maintenance for existing corporate accounts.
• Establish relationships with and travel to local businesses to network and distribute promotional membership materials.
• Managing select events geared towards engaging the membership base and/or generating interest in and excitement around the club.
• Serving as a visible and active goodwill ambassador with members and at select special events.
• Delivering superior customer service with an aim towards member retention.
