Retro Fitness in Fort Lee, NJ is seeking a part-time Front Desk Associate (MEA) to greet members and guests and ensure a welcoming, safe club environment.

The ideal candidate has sales experience, strong communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include membership tours, in-club sales, and maintaining cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Sales experience required.
• Part-time, hourly position; 15–20 hours per week minimum.
• Retail and/or hospitality experience preferred.
• Positive, upbeat attitude and personality.
• Effective communication with members, guests, coworkers and managers.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Customer service oriented.
• Punctual, responsible, reliable and detail‑oriented.
• Willingness to learn in a goal‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and checking in members and guests as they enter the club.
• Resolving member/guest issues in an effective manner.
• Membership tours/sales and retention.
• Selling in-store merchandise such as Retro Blends products and Pro Shop items.
• Ensuring a safe and clean environment for all members and staff.
• Lifting weights up to 45–60 lbs as required.
• Downtime tasks as assigned by Management (upkeep and facility walk-throughs).
• Opening and closing the facility if scheduled.
• Following company policies and procedures.
