Role Description

The Membership Director is a full-time, on-site role based at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club in Grosse Pointe, MI. This role oversees membership recruitment, onboarding, and retention through proactive outreach, relationship building, and regular communication with prospective and current members. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing membership inquiries and tours, coordinating membership events and orientations, developing membership marketing initiatives, and maintaining accurate membership records and reports. The Membership Director collaborates with club leadership and departments to ensure a consistent, high-quality member experience, monitors membership trends and goals, and contributes to budgeting and forecasting related to membership activities. The role also involves handling member feedback, resolving service issues, and representing the club in a professional, welcoming manner.
