Job summary

Ball State University’s Public Media division seeks a Part-time Membership and Event Coordinator to support donor relations, membership campaigns, and community engagement through events and targeted outreach.

The role involves coordinating with staff, partners, and volunteers to create meaningful experiences that strengthen audience connections and philanthropic support while delivering excellent customer service to members and donors.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of related experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• At least one year of related experience in fundraising, events, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Manage donor and membership processing, including gifts, pledges, record maintenance, and confidential financial information in Public Media databases.
• Provide member support by responding to inquiries via phone and email and preparing acknowledgment letters and stewardship communications.
• Generate reports, maintain donor databases, and manage lists.
• Support fundraising through direct mail, email campaigns, membership renewals, on-air drives, and special events.
• Assist membership operations by overseeing premium fulfillment, tracking inventory, coordinating supplies, and collaborating with staff to meet goals.
• Coordinate and support planning and execution of Ball State Public Media events annually with staff, vendors, volunteers, sponsors, and partners.
