Ball State Public Media is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Membership & Event Assistant. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support fundraising, membership, and community engagement efforts that help advance the mission of public media. The successful candidate will assist with donor relations, membership campaigns, event planning, and audience engagement initiatives while delivering outstanding customer service to members, donors, and community partners. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, coordinating events, and contributing to meaningful work that connects, informs, and enriches our community. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the United States without employer sponsorship.
The Membership & Event Assistant plays a key role in advancing Ball State Public Media's fundraising, membership, and community engagement efforts. This position supports donor stewardship and membership operations while helping to plan and execute events that strengthen audience connections and philanthropic support. Working collaboratively with staff, community partners, and donors, the coordinator delivers exceptional customer service, supports fundraising campaigns, and helps create meaningful experiences that enhance the organization's mission and impact.
Associate degree or an additional two years of related experience will be accepted in lieu of an associates degree. At least one year of related experience in fundraising, events, or related area.
Bachelor’s Degree in a communication-related field
