You will handle telephonic inquiries about payment status, billing, member information, provider access, and program questions, aiming for one-call resolution with care and accuracy.

The role requires listening, empathy, and strong communication; familiarity with healthcare or insurance is preferred, as is bilingual English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of inbound call center, customer service experience.
• 2+ years of healthcare or insurance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with databases (AS400) preferred.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask.
• Understanding of medical terminology helpful.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates active listening to collect information, build rapport, and respond professionally and empathetically.
• Assists members navigating the website and member portal(s) to become educated and self-sufficient.
• Accurately and expeditiously resolves issues and provides information.
• Analyzes inquiry types to ensure accurate information and resolutions.
• Documents all provider and member interactions promptly per policy.
• Meets quality, quantity, and timeliness standards to reach goals.
• Meets QA call audit standards.
