Job summary

Sidney Federal Credit Union (SFCU) is seeking a Financial Service Representative (FSR) to deliver personalized financial solutions and education. You will handle consumer and business accounts, loans, and referrals while supporting branch growth through a sales-as-a-service mindset.

This full-time role requires compliance awareness, fraud prevention, and a strong service orientation. Availability includes Saturdays, with potential branch travel as needed. NMLS willingness is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Consistent record of meeting performance and service expectations.
• Knowledge of financial institution products, services, and operations.
• Understanding of consumer lending, deposit products, and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify member needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, digital banking platforms, and financial institution systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.
• Comfortable using approved technology and AI-enabled tools to support productivity, communication, and member service while maintaining data security and compliance standards.
• NMLS Registration or ability to obtain.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Frequent standing, walking, and use of office equipment.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced member service through consultative conversations and relationship-building.
• Open, maintain, and service consumer, business, and specialty accounts.
• Process transactions, cash handling, balancing, and problem resolution.
• Assist members with digital banking services and electronic account access.
• Support members with estate accounts, death claims, and escalated concerns.
• Process member transactions and balances with accuracy and efficiency.
