Job summary

Vantage West Credit Union in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Member Service/Contact Center specialist to assist Members with routine inquiries and transactions. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, cross-selling related products, and maintaining knowledge of credit union offerings.

The position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule (8am–5pm) in a high-volume environment, with a potential language stipend and a path for growth within the credit union.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three (3) years of customer service/sales experience, including (1) year banking or contact center experience.
• Availability: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.
• Spanish speaking skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Responds via phone, email, or secure message to routine Member inquiries (accounts, transfers, loan payments, etc.).
• Executes transactions with security, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Partners with external departments to resolve inquiries promptly.
• Builds and maintains relationships with Members to ensure positive experiences.
• Acts as voice of the Member and suggests process improvements.
• Determines Member financial needs and recommends products/services; creates cross-sell opportunities.
• Stays informed about available resources to answer questions and resolve issues.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge on credit union products, services, policies, and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
