Job summary

Community First Credit Union in Saint Augustine, FL seeks a Teller to be the first point of contact for members, handling deposits, withdrawals, and everyday financial needs with friendly, accurate service. The role will also promote financial products and lodge travel to support nearby branches.

The position will be based at the St. Johns Branch with travel to Murabella and Beachwalk as needed, focusing on compliance and member satisfaction across locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Prior cash handling or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier checks, credit card and loan advances, travelers checks, transfers, and other routine transactions.
• Follow policies for check cashing, cash ordering, and check holds, and verify endorsements and identification to prevent fraud.
• Balance your cash drawer and assist with branch balancing at the end of the day.
• Provide exceptional service by greeting members, answering questions, and directing them to the right department when needed.
• Promote credit union products and services that can benefit members and make their financial lives easier.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and OFAC.
