Job summary

Community First Credit Union is seeking a Teller to serve as the first point of contact for members, handling daily transactions and providing friendly, accurate assistance at the Northpoint Branch. The role includes promoting financial products to enhance members’ finances and traveling to support other branches as needed.

The position requires attention to detail, strong communication, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Ability to learn and promote financial products and services.
High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in cash handling or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier checks, credit card and loan advances, travelers checks, transfers, and other routine transactions.
Follow policies for check cashing, cash ordering, and check holds, and verify endorsements and identification to prevent fraud.
Balance your cash drawer and assist with branch balancing at the end of the day.
Provide exceptional service by greeting members, answering questions, and directing them to the right department when needed.
Promote credit union products and services that can benefit members and make their financial lives easier.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and OFAC.
