Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union seeks an MSS Associate Member Services Representative to deliver routine member service via telephone and digital channels, assisting with account services, deposits, card services, and digital support.

You will train on SECU platforms, adhere to policies, protect member information, and collaborate with mentors to strengthen service delivery while supporting other operation areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferred – Bachelor’s degree, or CCUE Certification, or Associate of Arts degree or Associate of Science degree via the North Carolina Community College Transfer Program (NC-CTP).
• Entry level position with no experience required.
• Must possess an aptitude for meeting people and developing member confidence, respect, and trust in Credit Union.
• Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to think critically and use problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary member service via phone and digital channels.
• Respond to member inquiries about accounts, new deposits, card services, and digital channel support.
• Comply with all Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure member information remains confidential and access to accounts is for business purposes only.
• Follow security and control procedures as required by MSS.
• Work with a mentor and MSS coaching team to strengthen service delivery.
• Possess knowledge of SECU products/services and provide quality referrals as needed.
• Participate in training and continuous education.
