Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; math aptitude and keyboarding skills.
• 1 year related financial or customer services experience, or degree in related field.
• Knowledge of all credit union products and services.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and decision-making.
• Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking and organization skills.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain member relationships.
• Open, close, and maintain accounts (Checking, Saving, Subaccounts, CDs, IRAs, Money Markets).
• Process account transactions: checks, fraud disputes, wire transfers, stop payments, etc.
• Assist members with account questions.
• Serve as a notary.
• Use NFCU products and services to make recommendations and problem solve.
• Contribute to Service and Sales Reward goals.
• Actively listen to members and identify their needs; deliver prompt, professional service.
• Deliver personalized service to prospective and current members.
