Job summary

Whitefish Credit Union in Kalispell seeks a Member Services Representative I to serve as the welcoming face and voice for members. You will open new accounts, process personal loan requests, and handle teller transactions while delivering excellent service.

The role requires 1–3 years of member service or banking experience, basic notary capabilities, and strong communication. A meaningful benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years professional member service experience.
• 1-3 years professional banking or credit union experience.
• Knowledge of NCUA insurance and IRA guidelines/procedures.
• Ability and willingness to maintain notary licensure.

Responsibilities

• Process personal loan/line requests up to assigned limit.
• Open and maintain member accounts in accordance with procedures.
• Provide teller services, research questions, and general information.
• Be the product expert to match members to needs.
• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Direct members to appropriate personnel or departments as needed.
• Maintain accurate member contact information and communicate updates.
