Job summary

White Rose Credit Union is seeking a motivated Member Service Representative to serve as a liaison between members and the credit union, handling account information, opening accounts, and providing transaction services. The role emphasizes friendly, professional service, accurate handling of transactions, cross-selling products, and staying up-to-date on all credit union products and policies.

Candidates should have 6 months to 2 years of member service and lending experience and cash handling

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years member service and lending experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Shown ability to document and follow-through in a work environment
• Computer experience
• Handling of cash

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a professional manner; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service on transactions
• Provide in-person and telephone general and specific service-related information concerning credit union products or policies
• Respond to members’ requests, problems, and complaints, resolving issues or directing them to the appropriate person
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts; set up new account files and provide members with information for membership
• Process, close, and disburse loans
• Promote credit union products and services based on member needs and cross-sell
