Job summary

MVP Sports Clubs is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Member Services Team Member to deliver exceptional customer service at the Grand Rapids facility. You will handle check-ins, reservations, billing inquiries, and product information while representing MVP’s standards of professionalism and teamwork.

Role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, weekend availability, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming club environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• First Aid/CPR Training; in-house MVP training if needed.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent verbal and personal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests at the Service Desk and check in with waivers as needed.
• Assist with reservations, program registrations, billing questions and concerns.
• Provide timely, professional, courteous customer service.
• Develop knowledge of programs, events and facility operations.
• Operate CSI Software for point-of-sale and cash drawer management.
• Explain products, memberships and policies to customers.]
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and merchandise areas.
• Support with towel/laundry tasks and basic cleaning duties as needed.
