Job summary

Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union in Montvale, NJ is seeking a Member Service Representative to be the main contact for members, delivering friendly, accurate service in person and by phone while handling transactions and opening accounts.

You will cross-sell products, support lending activities, and ensure compliance with banking policies and regulatory requirements. Strong communication, accuracy, and a member-focused attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Six months to two years of related experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift at least 15 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to members, focused on five-star service quality.
• Process all account-related transactions with quality, accuracy, and proper verification.
• Balance cash drawers daily and resolve discrepancies in accordance with policy.
• Open and service consumer and business accounts; educate members on benefits and services.
• Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services that meet member needs.
• Promote and process consumer loans and provide basic mortgage information.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations, including BSA and Patriot Act.
• Respond to member inquiries and resolve issues or escalate as appropriate.
