Job summary

Flynn Group, operating Flynn Fitness brands, seeks a Member Services Representative to deliver exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members and guests. You will greet patrons, assist with memberships, answer questions, and coordinate club activities at the Decatur location.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced gym environment. Training will cover policies, POS usage, and safety protocols to ensure a welcoming, judgement-free facility.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests, always providing exceptional customer service.
• Answer phones courteously and assist callers with a variety of questions.
• Check members in and provide club tours to prospective members.
• Communicate updates and events to members and guests.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct beverage or merchandise purchases on the point-of-sale system.
• Utilize POS system to assist with new memberships and existing membership questions.
• Go above and beyond to keep the front desk area and lobby clean and orderly.
• Regular cleaning and upkeep of the facility, including exercise equipment, amenities, windows, mirrors, trash removal, and re-racking weights.
• Support team operations by adapting to new policies, procedures, and systems, and completing required company training as assigned.
