Job summary

First Community Credit Union in Jamestown, ND seeks a dependable Member Service role to assist members with teller functions, deposits, IRA/HSAs, and account maintenance. You will support training and ensure compliance while delivering friendly, accurate service over the phone and in person.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service and administrative experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a computer, telephone and other office equipment.
• Competitive team player with a positive attitude; eager to learn and adapt.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced member service environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support to members and branch staff by resolving inquiries related to teller functions, deposit products, and account processes.
• Maintain working knowledge of deposit products, services, and core systems to assist with account maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Support IRA and HSA programs, including inquiries, transfers, rollovers, tax forms reviews, and compliance tasks.
• Deliver teller and deposit training; prepare materials and present to Member Service functions.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies by following procedures and documenting member encounters.
• Provide excellent member service through timely, professional phone support and issue ownership.
