Job summary

First Community Credit Union in Fargo, ND seeks a full-time Member Service specialist to provide frontline support to members and branch staff, handling inquiries related to teller functions, deposits, and accounts. You will maintain knowledge of deposit products and core systems to assist with maintenance and troubleshooting.

The role includes supporting IRA and HSA programs, delivering training, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting excellent member service through telephone support

Qualifications

• Frontline member service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a computer, telephone and other office equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented with ability to handle fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support to members and branch staff by resolving inquiries related to teller functions, deposit products, and account processes.
• Maintain knowledge of deposit products, services, and core systems to assist with account maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Support IRA and HSA programs, including inquiries, transfers, rollovers, tax forms, and compliance tasks.
• Deliver teller and deposit training, including creating materials and presenting to Member Service functions.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies, document member interactions, and uphold security procedures.
• Deliver excellent member service through timely, professional phone support and issue ownership.
