Job summary

Carolinas Telco Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Representative to support branch operations, account processing, and loan activity. You will engage members through a consultative approach, process teller transactions, and help cross-sell credit union products while upholding CTFCU's core values.

The role focuses on delivering prompt, courteous service, verifying information, and ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• One to two years of lending experience.
• Must have NMLS # or the ability to be licensed through the NMLS Registry in compliance with the S.A.F.E. Act
• Knowledge of credit union loan services, policies, and procedures
• Thorough understanding of related legal and regulatory standards, and required loan documentation.
• Knowledge of consumer and residential lending practices.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, takes applications, gathers information, and processes preliminary documentation on loan requests.
• Evaluates and verifies loan applications and credit criteria.
• Verifies employment and income, according to loan processing policies. Determines value of collateral.
• Processes loan applications through the Loans System and ensures proper documentation and disbursement.
• Assists in servicing loans including payoff, refinances, address changes, and payment due date changes.
• Completes all teller duties and adheres to CTFCU policies and procedures.
• Cross-sells credit union products and maintains professional member relations.
