Job summary

MVP Sports Clubs is seeking a friendly Member Services Team Member to deliver outstanding customer service at the front desk of our Grand Rapids facilities. You will handle reservations, program sign-ups, billing questions, and daily cash handling, ensuring a smooth guest experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid training, and at least 6 months of customer service experience in a fast-paced setting. Weekend and holiday availability is a must.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• First Aid/CPR Training.
• Minimum 6 months prior customer service experience in high-volume service industry.
• Excellent verbal and personal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and functions effectively and efficiently.
• Must be able to work weekends, and holidays when needed.
• Ability to stand 95% of the shift and lift weighted objects up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, guests, and staff at the Service Desk and check them in.
• Assist members with reservations, program registrations, and billing questions.
• Provide superior customer service in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintain knowledge of all programs, events, and facility operations.
• Handle point-of-sale procedures and cash management.
• Communicate member feedback to the Manager and address questions.
