Job summary

East Texas Professional Credit Union is seeking a results-driven Member Service Representative at the Lufkin, TX location. The role centers on opening and maintaining member accounts, responding to inquiries, and cross-selling credit union products and services.

You will work to deliver excellent service in-person, by phone, and via electronic media. Responsibilities include opening new deposit accounts, servicing existing accounts, and maintaining knowledge of all products and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years of banking experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and public relations skills.
• Ability to operate computer applications and 10-key and telephone.
• Solid math and bookkeeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Open all types of new deposit accounts and determine membership needs.
• Service existing member accounts: interview, process requests, balance and close accounts as needed.
• Promote credit union products and services based on member needs and cross-sell.
• Respond to member requests and resolve issues or coordinate with staff.
• Provide prompt, professional service in person, by phone, and via email.
