Job summary

Apple Federal Credit Union in Ashburn, VA seeks a full-time Member Service Representative I to handle in-branch, by mail, and phone transactions with accuracy and courtesy. You will process deposits and withdrawals, verify endorsements, and help members with account basics while upholding company service standards.

The role requires at least 12 months in a financial institution or cash handling, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn Synapsys MRM and Symitar systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum twelve months financial institution or cash handling experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and member/customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Represents the credit union to the member in person, by mail or by telephone in a courteous, professional manner.
• Balances checks and cash to daily cash received vouchers.
• Receives loan payments, checks and cash for deposit into accounts and inputs information into the computer system.
• Provides basic account information on Loans and Shares products as needed.
• Contacts member regarding deposit accounts, loan applications and other products as directed by branch management.
