Job summary

Apple Federal Credit Union in Falls Church, VA is seeking a friendly Teller to assist members with daily financial transactions, deposits, withdrawals and payments. You’ll greet members, explain services and maintain accurate records, while supporting cross-selling of CU products.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality and a courteous, responsive service mindset. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 3–5 years related experience, strong math skills and attention to detail; we offer

Qualifications

Education: high school diploma or GED.
Experience: 3–5 years in financial transactions or similar roles.
Excellent math, accuracy and discretion in handling money.

Responsibilities

Receives and processes customer financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sells money orders and travelers checks to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed.
Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records.
Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services.
Cross-sells Credit Union services.
Performs miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone.
Other duties as assigned.
