Job summary

Great River Health Systems is seeking a friendly Member Services Representative for our West Burlington gym. You will greet members and guests, answer phones, check in members, and guide prospective members through tours and sign-ups.

The role emphasizes professional, responsive service, including updating member accounts, handling cash as needed, and maintaining a clean facility. Wage starts from $16 per hour with variable hours.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
• Check members into the system.
• Take prospective members on tours.
• Sign up new members calculating rates and monthly payment amounts.
• Assist in counting out the drawer as needed.
• Facilitate needed updates to member’s accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to leader as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the gym.
• Completing daily assigned within first hour of your shift.
• Helping complete priority cleaning list each day.
• Helping complete any special cleaning projects as needed.
• Completing walk-around and bathroom checks periodically.
• Other duties and responsibilities based on gym needs.
