Job summary

UP Connection FCU is seeking a Teller/Member Service Representative to provide exceptional member service by processing financial transactions and assisting with banking needs. The role includes answering calls, administrative duties, and supporting daily branch operations.

Hours are Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm. Responsibilities include processing deposits and withdrawals, maintaining accurate cash records, opening accounts, and promoting credit union services.

Qualifications

• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to all members.
• Process member transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, cash advances, and check cashing.
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accurate records of all transactions.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls, respond to member inquiries, and direct calls as appropriate.
• Assist members with opening and maintaining accounts, debit card requests, online banking, and other credit union services.
• Educate members about credit union products and services and identify opportunities to meet their financial needs.
• Receive, verify, and process member documents and paperwork.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby, teller area, break room, and other common areas to ensure a professional appearance.
• Assist with opening and closing branch procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information and comply with all credit union policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
