Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred; or minimal related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read, write and present information clearly to members.
• Basic math and currency handling skills required for transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and guide them or direct to appropriate personnel.
• Receive checks and cash, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals with verification of signatures and balances.
• Enter transactions into computer systems and issue receipts.
• Balance cash drawer and reconcile daily totals.
• Explain, promote and sell products or services to benefit members.
• Handle money orders, gift cards, loan payments and related transactions.
• Assist other departments as needed and use CDM/Recyclers for member transactions.
