Job summary

Beacon Credit Union in Indiana seeks a friendly Member Service Representative to assist members with deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and basic account inquiries while delivering exceptional service.

You will support new account openings, cross-sell Beacon products, and ensure accurate records in the core system as part of a collaborative team dedicated to member satisfaction and community-focused service.

Qualifications

• One to twelve months prior cashing handling and customer service experience preferred
• High School Diploma or HSE
• Excellent cash handling and member service skills (outgoing!)
• Extremely detail oriented
• Basic knowledge of personal computer operations and related software programs
• Ability to work as a team member
• Ability to cross-sell Beacon products and services according to member needs

Responsibilities

• Receive and process deposits by cash or check in person, via night depository, or by mail.
• Open, close and maintain consumer checking and savings accounts, CDs, IRA's and HSA's.
• Respond to members' basic questions concerning their accounts and refer complex issues.
• Welcomes members and cross-sell Beacon products and services.
• Update basic member account information on core system and perform file maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
